Natural Flawless Makeup

Today, bridal makeup does not need to be heavily applied in order to appeal to the camera; however professional products and a skilled hand need to be used. 



Jennifer’s makeup kit is full of a variety of professional products including brands such as: 
 Bobbi Brown, Chanel, Dior, Young Blood Mineral makeup, Lancôme, MAC, Nars, Shu Uemura and Benefit which have been specially selected for their effectiveness and longevity. She also qualified in Airbrush application using Airbase foundations to create an even toned, flawless complexion favoured by celebrities and production departments. Jennifer ensures tools and brushes are cleaned and sanitised before each client – always. Disposable mascara wands, fresh sponges and applicators are always used.

Your Bridal Make-Up Trial

A makeup trial is essential to design and finalize your wedding look. It is an opportunity to meet and discuss ideas. During the consultation I will consider the colour of your wedding dress and your bridesmaids dresses, the flowers, the time of your ceremony, as well as your personal preferences and your own unique beauty.

We will experiment with different looks, types of make-up and application methods (such as airbrushing). I will take you through the application process step by step to build up your desired look so your are completely confident with the end result, you may even pick up some tricks of the trade a long the way!

Tips for trials:

• Collect a few magazine pictures of makeup styles you like, keeping in mind your colouring and features. Think about what you like and don’t like about the makeup in your reference picture. Does the makeup go with the style of your wedding?

• Be sure to have clean, moisturised skin.

• Wear a top similar in colour to your wedding gown.

• Keep in mind snapshot photos are not an accurate representation of your makeup colours, style or finish. Professional photographers have lighting expertise that capture you and your makeup looking their best.

• You might like to book your hair trial and makeup trial on the same day so you can see your complete look before the wedding day. 

 Once you are happy that we have found the right look for you, I will record all colour schemes, and preferences and will take two photographs of the final look so I have a visual record of the look created, as well as completing a face chart where I will record all the products used.

Your Wedding Day

On the day I will recreate your desired look decided at your trial. 

I like to allow 60 minutes for the Bride and 30 minutes each for the bridesmaid and/or Mother of Bride. Prior to departing, I will ensure that you and your entire bridal party are looking absolutely gorgeous and picture perfect.

If any additional members of the bridal party require makeup, please be sure to ask me on arrival as I may well be able to cater for them.
